Surakarta University is one of the universities in Central Java, precisely on the border of the city of Solo which leads to East Java. Unsa, as it is called, is very strategically located because it is right east of Bengawan Solo, the main traffic going to Tawangmangu, Karanganyar and towards East Java. Unsa was founded by the Chairman of Central Java Aptis, Prof. Dr. H.S. Brodjo Sudjono, S.H., M.S., Professor of Law, which was promoted directly by Prof. Satjipto Rahardjo.
