The Dive itself is a small hotel with a homey atmosphere, more a home than a hotel. The rooms have polished floors and are completely self contained with bathrooms and kitchenettes. The overall effect is one of a stylish, contemporary, beachy feel. If you fancy company, there are sundecks, a sunny courtyard and a well-equipped communal kitchen. Beachfront rooms guests say they could spend all day long feasting on the view. Fortunately, restaurants along the front serve up the same view and every conceivable cuisine. In fact, breakfast is something of a ritual along the beachfront and it lasts all day. If you want to walk off your meal, there are lots of beaches, pools and parks nearby, all joined by scenic walks. In fact the walk from Coogee to Bondi Beach is one of Sydney's most spectacular walks. With a cliff top stroll through Sydney's oldest cemetery, you will have grandstand views of small coves and big surf, and with a passing parade of joggers, dog walkers, families, surfers and elderly strollers you are sure to be kept entertained along the way. Ringside seats are yours for the price of a coffee at one of the many outdoor cafes dotted along Bronte and Tamarama Beaches.
